Medicine Park Telephone Company started its broadband system in 2002. It has since developed into the leading service for customers. The popularity of the dsl services, and our dedication to offer service to ALL customers has caused us to overbuild our system several times, adding more remote terminals for dsl services and Fiber to the Premises. These systems are provided by Pannaway (Enablence Technologies in 2009) and provide us 24/7 support on our entire system. Pannaway knows that the technologies we offer are constantly changing, and they stay up-to-date, and keep us up-to-date with them.
Whether it is network equipment, servers, or our digital telephone equipment, we make backups of our system, and have redundancy wherever prossible. Building out to elgin, with fiber optics, we have expanded our system so that we have multiple paths out and a single failure will not effect the entire system.
To keep up with updates and changes to the system, www.mptelcodsl.com was started, and customers are recommended to check the site periodically so they know about system maintenance, upgrades, and support changes. This is the second generation of the site, providing more information than before, in response to customer requests.
